iPod touch

The droid looks pretty sweet as well. I have never had any problems with my iPods in the past but you never know.

As far as wanting any iPhone vs just having the iPod touch plus a regular phone that is just too much to keep up with. Why not have all that in one, I forget my phone half the time and if I gotta keep up with two no thank ya. I would rather have one I can do it all with

I've been checking Verizon rates vs AT&T rates over the last few months. The AT&T plans for smartphones are highly competitive.

Get the Droid from Verizon for $99 or $199 (depending on model) after rebate, or get an iPhone for $99-$299.

So for me, AT&T could win on price.

Is the sound great with the touch? I've heard its really, really clear and and great volume- which I like to blast my music

I know that's basic stuff, but I pay attention to that mostly...the other features probably aren't going to let me down I figure. I've owned one ipod in my life, the first silver nanos, it has been great. I've had it forever and whatever you can think it can be put through, I've done it and it's worked completely fine, I wouldn't buy anything else besides some type of ipod.

Sound on the iPods for the most part isn't any different. It just depends upon the version of the download and the quality of your headphones, or system.

True, just what I had heard about it, that it was much clearer, not as much with volume - but was supposed to be better too?. I know it has a lot to do with headphones or whatnot, I spend too much on ones for the one I got, jw if the sound quality was that much better with it.
